JEDDAH — The Board of Directors of Okaz Organization for Press and Publications on Thursday approved the quarterly report on the performance of the organization and its various sectors during the past three months of the fiscal year 2015. The board met under its Chairman Abdullah Saleh Kamel. The report highlighted the accomplishments made by the organization in the first quarter of the fiscal year and its distinguished performance that was realized according to the established plans. The report also covered the organization's financial and the administrative activities. The report will, as customary, be forwarded to all members of the General Assembly for information and review. The board discussed new developments in the press field in general and steps the organization should take in conformity with the market's changing trend. The board considered a number of projects that would further enhance the organization's achievements. The projects were focused on media and printing activities with a view to augmenting the organization's human resources and technological advancement. The board gave its nod, in principle, to invest in the fields of printing and packaging. Present at the board meeting were Abdulaziz Al-Dhukail, Abdullah Kayyat, Nabeel Al-Hossain, Walid Bin Mahfouz, Tariq Fadqaa, Hussain Shobukshi and Waleed J. Kattan, director general of the organization. Secretary of the board Ahmed Bin Solaiman Al-Battah also attended the meeting.
