DELHI — Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) demolished the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at the Feroz Shah Kotla here Sunday.
Put in to bat, DD was shot out for a meager 95. In response, Chris Gayle looked in a hurry and smashed his way around the ground to take RCB to a comprehensive 10-wicket victory. RCB has recovered well with two consecutive victories and that holds it in good stead moving ahead.
Brief scores: Delhi Daredevils 95 for 18.2 overs (Mayank Agarwal 27, Kedar Jadhav 33; Mitchell Starc 3 for 20, Varun Aaron 2 for 24, David Wiese 2 for 18). Royal Challengers Bangalore 99 in 10.3 overs (Chris Gayle 62 not out, Virat Kohli 35 not out).
