IEC Abroad Fair to offer Indian students higher education opportunities

JEDDAH — A unique into its type a higher education fair organized for the first time at the International Indian schools in Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh recently.

International Education Consultancy (IEC Abroad) worked in collaborating and arranged about 18 universities from UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland, Hungary, & Malaysia displayed their programs course offerings, fees structures and other details during the fair.

IEC Abroad arranged complete itinerary for the university representatives to come to the different venues. The counselors and representatives from these institutions met with prospective students and parents and gave them an opportunity to select a suitable course and university where they could pursue higher studies.

The Higher Education Fair opened up various avenues in higher education in different countries for the students. The fair saw hundreds of students visiting different stands, with many spending hours interacting and gathering information on different courses. The students and parents termed the program “wholesome,” where they got a clear idea of career choices, admission procedures and scholarships available.

Mohammed Shaffe, Principle International school Dammam IISD and Dr. Shaukat Pervez principle International Indian school Riyadh IISR ; the Principals of all the three schools expressed their immense appreciation and gratitude for giving their students an opportunity to explore different possibilities for their higher studies.

Massod basha regional director of the company said “IEC Abroad is a UK based education consultancy headed by a British Indian Managing Director; Sadiq Basha based out of Manchester, UK,
This is the first time we are conducting in Saudi Arabia, we want to give an opportunity to Indian students to meet the universities and discuss about their career and higher education abroad and clear the doubts if they have”.

He added, “It is a very good plate form to know about the scholarship programs, lifestyle in U.K and all essential things.

This is the first time we are doing and providing all essential information on their doorstep. We are focusing on bachelor programs and give a honest cancelling based on his academic records and his budget, we normally don't go for the ranking of the university, we give a proper canceling based upon the student course interest”.

Imran Khan; Business Development Manager (MENA) has assured that this Fair will be a yearly event from this year on wards.

Masood Basha; the Under his leadership managed to arrange this event quite successfully in Jeddah on 10th of April 11th of April in Dammam, & 13th of April in Riyadh.

“IEC Abroad is very grateful to all the schools for giving them the opportunity of hosting this education fair” said Basha.

There were a number of parents who visited along with their children to inquire about higher education and different possibilities for their field of interest.

Osama Haq a 11 grade student says “I have gathered enough information so that I can compare the countries and opportunities available. The fair will certainly help me take a rounded decision.”

Options in Australia, United Kingdom and Canada were considered.
Parent of a student said, “This fair helped my son to gain a fair understanding in selecting Career and Universities,”
