With regard to the article “A country that rides elephants” (Apr. 15), while the world is busy creating wars and causing human misery, India is busy advancing by leaps and bounds in business, science and technology. Yes, there are fringe extremist elements but who cares when the majority of Indians believe in peaceful coexistence, irrespective of religion or ethnicity. Indians are intelligent workers and entrepreneurs. Ask anyone from around the world. From setting up a local tea shop to setting up a cutting-edge technology company in Silicon Valley, just feel the presence of people!
