JAZAN — Pak National Cricket Club defeated Al-Dhabia Cricket Club by 61 runs to win the Trophy of the Jazan Region Cricket Association (JRCA) MoneyGram CKB 2015 Tournament, which was sponsored by MoneyGram Money Transfer Agency and organized by JRCA under the aegis of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) here recently. Pak National, batting first, piled up 192 as Aadil blasted an unbeaten 57 off 14 balls. The other main contributors were Tahir Mushtaq (52), Mohsin (20) and skipper Shahid (56). Al-Dhabia, in reply, could manage only 131. Pak National bowlers bowled magnificently and did not allow the batsmen to play freely. Mohammed Asif grabbed 5 for 42 and Tahir Mushtaq accounted for 3 wickets. Qasim Naqvi from the SCC was the chief guest during the awarding ceremony. Other guests who graced the ceremony included Rahat Ali Choudhry, Dr. Abdulghani, Mohammed Shaikh Al-Harbi, Mohammed Ather, Mohammed Afzal, Amanullah, Rafaqat Ali, Abdul Jabbar, Duncan Proze, Syed Basheer Hussain, Imtiyaz, Mujahid, Tauseef and Choudhry Ashraf. Champion Pak National team was awarded a cash prize of SR2,000 and the winner's trophy, while the runner-up was given SR1,500 and the runner-up cup. Tahir Mushtaq was adjudged the Best Batsman, Mohammed Irshad the Best Bowler and Aqeel Pervaiz the Man of the Tournament. The semifinalists and men of the matches were given special prizes. All the teams were also given participation shields. SCC honored Liyaqat Ali and Mujahid Hussain with special prizes.
