JEDDAH — The overwhelming response received for the “Arabian Nights Food Festival” has prompted organizers Elaf Jeddah Hotel to extend its run for another week. Held at the Kinda Restaurant in the Red Sea Mall, the festival throws the spotlight on Arabic cuisine, particularly food prepared by countries like Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Tunisia. During its first week, visitors were treated to sumptuous dishes prepared by Elaf's emerging young Saudi chefs. “Arabian Nights Food Festival” has been dubbed a major success as it has attracted a large turnout of mall visitors and diners during its first week. Ahmed Hajar, Vice President, Elaf Hotels, said: “We are proud to announce that we are extending the ‘Arabian Nights Food Festival' for one more week. We have decided to extend the festival due to the strong response that we have received during its initial run. This highly-engaging event not only showcases traditional Arabic cuisine from all over the region but also features our rich culture and heritage as reflected in the many dishes highlighted in the festival. We invite everyone to come join us at the Kinda Restaurant at the Red Sea Mall to sample a taste of Arabic dishes on show.” — SG
