MCLAREN has announced the launch of Club 63 in Saudi Arabia – the first-ever official McLaren Owners Club in the Middle East – at a special event held in the luxury supercar's showroom in Jeddah.
A number of McLaren owners from Saudi Arabia were present at the launch, joined by more than 50 guests from the media, business and motorsport community.

Sheikh Ghassan Abdul Rahman Al Sulaiman, Al Ghassan Motors President, said at the launch: “We are very excited that Prince Mohammed bin Faisal is joining the McLaren owners' club as an ambassador and President Emeritus - he is someone with highly rated qualifications.
Perhaps one of the most important of these qualifications is his sporting achievements, which have made him one of the brightest new stars in the field of emerging motorsport on the global scene.
He is a very valuable addition to the list of owners and friends of the McLaren brand in the Kingdom.”
The 24-year-old Prince Mohammed bin Faisal bin Abdullah took his first steps in the world of motorsport seven years ago when he participated in Formula 3.
Since then, he has improved his talent to reap several stunning victories and was crowned the inaugural champion in KSA racing history in 2010 when he ascended the winner's podium more than 10 times, proving himself as one of the best drivers and athletes in the Kingdom.
Following the announcement, Prince Mohammed said: “It is a pleasure and an honor to be appointed as ambassador and Honorary President of the McLaren owners club in the KSA, and I am pleased to have the confidence of the members of the club.
It is one of the most prestigious sports car brands in the world, but for me, it embodies a long history of tradition and absolute trust.
The glamorous McLaren brand represents everything that is fitting for the owners of distinct sporting personalities, and I will do my best to elevate this club and the promotion of McLaren cars.”
“I will work strenuously in order to develop this club towards achieving the goals and aspirations for all of us, hoping to meet the expectations of everyone.
