Published in The Saudi Gazette on 18 - 02 - 2015

JEDDAH — The Saudi Plastic & Petrochem 2015 and Saudi Print & Pack 2015 (Saudi PPPP 2015) shows will kick off for the first time in Jeddah on March 1, 2015. The events are under the patronage of Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The two exhibitions, which are of the Middle East's largest specialized trade fairs in the field of plastics, petrochemical, printing and packaging, will explore the latest trends and opportunities in the local market. The two events will run until March 3, 2015 and will host more than 300 local and international exhibitors from 19 countries at the Jeddah Center for Forums & Events.
SABIC will participate in these events as the Diamond Sponsor, Saudi Polymers as the Platinum Sponsor, and Petro Rabigh as be the Gold Sponsor, in addition to the Saudi Industrial Property Authority as an industrial partner. The national pavilions at the shows reflect the interest of international companies in the Saudi market and demonstrate their confidence in the importance of these exhibitions.
An official from the Riyadh Exhibitions Company remarked: “We aim to develop these exhibitions by inviting local and regional companies and institutions to visit these events and explore the unique business opportunities offered by the Saudi market. The Saudi Plastic & Petrochem 2015 and Saudi Print & Pack 2015 will offer huge opportunities for stakeholders of these vital sectors. Moreover, it will be a distinct gathering that will provide national and international companies the opportunity to explore the latest market trends and services within the key areas and contribute to their progress and development. We are also confident of achieving a feat similar to what we achieved last year as a result of the support provided by the concerned government agencies to these exhibitions. In addition, our efforts as the event organizer along with the interest of the local, regional and global companies are also important for the success of the events.” — SG
