Falling in love with art will always give a person a sense of creativity to use anything around him or her to create a masterpiece. The level of creativity could reach a stage where a person is able to turn ordinary everyday things into exceptional pieces of art. In this field, there are no rules. A crazy and strange idea could become a unique piece of artwork, similar to the artwork of a creative artist who is able to turn buttons into beautiful pictures. Tracy Greer, originally from London and living in Australia, has dabbled in art all her life, but began button art almost two years ago. “It has taken off for me, and I love making it very much,” says Tracy on her Facebook page. “I actually get a lot of my inspiration, not from the famous, but from my brother who is also an artist,” she said. “My multimedia art is bright and vibrant and that's what I want my art to be … buttons give it that something different and I hope it makes people smile when they look at it,” she added. According to Mixed Media Art Magazine, Tracy wanted the hair of people she was drawing to stand out and that is when she decided to use buttons to create unique imagery. After printing faces and then editing them, Tracy adds her own personal touch to the portraits. To highlight features such as the eyes and lips, she uses acrylic paint and pen. In these beautiful button collections, Tracy uses real jewelry pieces for earrings. The result is a beautiful colorful button portrait. Tracy enjoys making button art and has been interested in art since she was a child; she has previously tried her hand at all kinds of art throughout the years.
