Adnan, Kashif and Shahbaz dazzle in WPCA MoneyGram

JEDDAH — Adnan excelled with the ball, Kashif with the bat, while Irfan showed his all-round skills in the WPCA MoneyGram CKB Tournament here.
Premier Division
In the first match of the 35-over league, My Care Hala beat Crown Steel by 8 wickets. Crown Steel, batting first, was in early trouble with 3-2.
It only got worse with 19-4 as Adnan Dani sliced through Steelmen line-up. Imran Azam steadied the ship with 78 in 76 balls (4 fours and 5 sixes) as he added 133 with Waqas Ausaf (62).
Abuhuraira (21) and Shoaib Ali (19) helped the team reach 199 for 6 when again it lost wickets in a heap to be all out for 199. Adnan Dani finished with figures of 6-37.
My Care Hala, in reply, started badly as well as it reached 17 for 2, but Kashif Shafeeq (99 off 59 balls with 3 sixes and 13 fours) and Shahbaz Rasheed (70 in 65 balls) remained unbeaten to add 183 for the 3rd wicket to take team to the winning post (200) for the loss of two wickets in 137 balls.
Hala Friends humbled Al-Ghamdi Cricket Stars by 9 wickets. Aftab with 28 was the highest scorer for Al-Ghamdi, which crashed for 67.
Wajahat Shah grabbed 3-24, Waqas 3-15, Khalid Iqbal 2-1 and Saleem 2-26. Hala friends got to 68 for 1 in 44 balls as Saleem hit 43 not out and Nasir 22.
Morning Division
Tata Motors trounced Awesome XI by 95 runs. Tata Motors piled up 196 thanks to Irfan Qureshi's 57.
Awesome XI, in reply, was restricted at 101 with Azeem scoring 45. Irfan Qureshi grabbed 4 for 24 and Syed Ali took 3-12.

New Young Stars won against Jeddah Royals by 9 wickets. Jeddah Royals posted 126 for 8 and New Young Stars in response achieved 132 for 1 in 58 balls as Amir slammed 91 in 32 balls with 12 fours and 6 sixes while Rifaqat hit 24.
Brasa De Brazil humbled Deloitte by 8 wickets. Deloitte put on 131 for 8 with Awais scoring 56. Waseem claimed 3-25.
Brasa De Brazil was home with 132 for 2 in 61 balls as Omair scored 66 in 31 balls.
Emper Perfumes edged QRCC by 12 runs. Emper Perfumes racked up 223 for 4 as Usman Amjad hit 50, Babar 37, Usman Jani 31, Sibghatullah 29 and Javed 44. QRCC fought well to make 211 for 2 through Naseer (74 in 39 balls) and Sadiq Memon (82 not out in 47 balls with 13 fours).
Zamil Cool Care defeated SFCC by 7 wickets. Taking the strike first, SFCC posted 160 for 5 thanks to Tariq Siddiqui compiling 57 in 39 balls and Fahad 54 in 35 balls.
Abid bagged 2-14. Zamil Cool Care, in reply, reached 162 for 3 in 97 balls. Maqsood scored 56 in 39 balls and Abid 50. Fahad took 2-32.
Nesma Holding downed Johnson Control by 24 runs. Nesma produced 148 for 8 through Jawwad and Rana making 35 each. Saeed took 3-26.
Johnson Control, in chase, was stranded at 124 for 7 with Awais scoring 50 and Furqan Shahbaz 24 as the two added 82 for the first wicket. Rana grabbed 3-25.
