With regard to the article "Double standards in the name of freedom of expression" (Feb. 4), we, as Muslims, need to question our own double standards and hypocrisy. The Palestinian situation is tragic, but so is Muslim-on-Muslim violence and brutality in Iraq and Syria, and many Muslim expatriates suffer at the hands of Gulf citizens. We must clean up our own behavior and approach before we criticize foreigners. We cannot deny how many Muslim immigrants have fled their homelands to find success and freedom living in Western nations. Faith777, Online response
