JEDDAH — Amer Wahla of Pak Green blasted 109, Usman Khan hit 91, and Rashid Khursheed took 4-20 in the 8th week matches of JCA Premier Division MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah T20 here.
Mazco edged Panda by 8 runs. Batting first, Mazco made 212-7. The bulk of the runs came from the blade of Usman Khan, who hit a match-winning 91 in 43 balls with seven boundaries and six sixes. Zain added 24, Imran 18, Sabir Ali 18 and Waseem 17. Rizwan took 2-34, Luqman 2-22, Tahir 1-39, Karam Ali 1-29 and Yasir Ali 1-38. In reply, Panda could manage only 204-7. Manzar was the top scorer with 65 as Taher added 47 and skipper Arif 20. Nasir had magical figures of 4-31, Tahir 1-45 and Sabir Ali 1-35.
Pak Green thrashed Caravan by 9 wickets. Caravan Travels posted 165-5 with Aijaz making 44, Adnan Butt 40 and Majid Bhatti 19. Asim Jr. scalped 2-21, Furqan 2-29 and Javed 1-15. Pak Green reached the target of 166 for the loss of 1 wicket in 11 overs. Amer Wahla smashed a quick-fire 109 off 32 balls with 14 sixes and 5 fours. Asim Abbas hit 44. Mohammad Akram claimed the only wicket to fall for 25 runs.
ARM scored a 4-wicket win over Tamer. Tamer, taking the strike first, collapsed for 152. Openers Jawed Ahmed and Anwar Khan failed to impress, but Afroz (43), Irfan (32) held the slide as little master Adnan added 12. There were 17 extras. The wrecker-in-chief was none other than veteran leg-spinner Rashid Khursheed, who took 4-20. Skipper Nazeer claimed 2-16, Sami Khan 2-27, Mohammad Nakhuda Thabriz 1-13 and Zeeshan 1-38. ARM reached 156 for 6 in 18 overs. Opener Thabriz hit a match-winning 53 as Mohammed Nazeer contributed 46, Ashraf 13 and Sami 12. Amjad claimed 3-28, Noor 1-20, Ali 1-11 and Sarfaraz 1-29.
Arcoma registered a 103-run win over Natco. Arcoma, batting first, piled up 242-4. Shareef blasted 85 off 42 balls with 11 fours and 4 sixes. Asif hit 53, Malik 48, while Ismail and Ahsan remained unbeaten on 18 and 14, respectively. Chand bagged 2-46, Ejaz 1-43 and Sajid 1-46. In reply, Natco slumped for 139. Faraz made 29, skipper Humayun 24, while Ejaz and Mustafa added 20 each. Ayaz claimed 3-24, Nabeel 3-31, Asif 2-23 and Ilyas 1-17.
