Reckless driver drifts into police car

TURAIF — Police here arrested a 31-year-old Saudi driver who was drifting on the highway when he crashed into a police car near the eastern border of the governorate, lightly injuring a police officer. Northern Borders Police spokesman Col. Uwaid Al-Enezi said the police officer suffered minor injuries. The driver had one other passenger with him in the vehicle. The driver fled the scene of the accident after crashing into the police car and sought refuge in a nearby house. Police surrounded the house and arrested him. He was handed over to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution.
