Reformado lifts Lance & 3rdy, Resano bags ladies' honor

JEDDAH — Ric Reformado guided Lance & 3rdy to a victory over Rock N Roll, while Mariz Resano defended Fine Boys with her Lady Bowler-of-the-Week performance in the third week of the FEDBG-FMBL 16th conference at Bowling City here.
In his most inspiring performance, Reformado led his team with Male Bowler-of-the-Week performance with 683 points to top its 16-4 victory with his games of 254, 219 210. Ding dela Rosa added 616 as Lance & 3rdy walloped Rock N Roll 1299-1206. Jay Bengco (600) and Aileen Miralbuna (606) also shone.
Richard Junio and Edwin Ronquillo tried a 1,169 snug for Rock N Roll but Igna Salgado and Joey Calapatia were prompt with 1,173 plastering. Jayson Castillo and Ruben Grino tried for 1,150-1,100 salvage over Marcelo Manalo and Evelyn Santoc but turned out no effect on the lead founded by four players. Lance & 3rdy became the Team of the Week on aggregate of 3,572 with wins on Game 1 (1,153-1,134) and game 3 (1,194-1,167). Rock N Roll took game 2 (1,125-1,224) but lose overall match at 3,572-3,525.
Resano shared the spotlight when she bested the ladies with 644, and although Fine Boys lost to Extreme 16-4, she took the Lady Bowler of the Week honors. Mel Llanes totaled 645 from games of 219, 205 and 221, while Resano took the honor from games of 243, 182 and 219. Extreme came out on top with Andy Yumena scoring 615. The supports of the rest of the Rod Lofamia-lead Fine Boys are also fair to win handicapped sets 1 & 3, but with total of 2,825 from Jimmy Urbano, Dariel Loquias, Carling Constantino, Archie Santos and Matet Cavite. Extreme swept scratch sets to take the overall settlement at 3,440-3,416.
In other matches Al-Murjanah Bowers routed BCT Mongoose 18-2 (3,533-3,455) with Roger Daquioag (667) and Richard Manaog (645) doing great for the winners and Yousuf Johani walling 621 for the losers. D'Lufs Strikers out-pointed Hal Falcons 11-9 with Robert de Guzman (644) and Richard Antonio (613) in great touch for the victors, while Bas Langa (618), Shirley Sagmit (615) and Nap Patayan (613) did it for Falcons. Micah's Pride out-scored Cool Guys 18-2 (3,566-3,510) with Oca Bernaber, Rey Feliciano, Paolo Allego giving 600-up for winners and Aisah Silay made 625 for the losers. Shawly Bowlers emerged the better team against defending champion Ekis 18-2 (3,444-3,253) submission with the Sanosa couple (1,254 total) having great time for the luckier squad and no one hit 600-mark for the Ernie Geslani-captained team.
