JEDDAH – An expatriate worker was beheaded here Monday for smuggling drugs, according to a statement by the Interior Ministry. Yasser Arafat Monir Ahmad, Pakistani, was caught red-handed while trying to sneak a large quantity of heroin into the country. Customs officers arrested him after Ahmad aroused their suspicion. He admitted before the General Court here that he tried to get drugs into the country and was sentenced to death. The verdict was upheld by the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
