MAKKAH — A huge fire destroyed a clothing store located in the Al-Hafayer neighborhood in Umm Al-Qura Street. The fire spread to nearby shops and damaged them. Eight teams from the Civil Defense arrived at the location and managed to control the fire before it spread even further to nearby buildings. The fire spread fast to nearby stores because of the presence of flammable materials in the store where it all started. Civil Defense officers are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
