I am writing with regard to the article "First woman head at Holy Mosques Presidency" (Dec. 23). Praise to this wise woman and the men who are improving the practice of religion. Now all girls and women will also have the benefit of a role model to show them how high they can rise if they are good, smart and ambitious. Half of Muslims are women and Muslim history has had many women scholars and leaders since the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
