The General Machinery Agencies (GMA) will sponsor the Eastern Province Basketball League's (EPBL) second conference in its 21st year of organizing basketball tournaments. The championship dubbed as “General Machinery Agencies Cup”, starts Friday at the Al-Ittifaq Club gymnasium. EPBL tournaments usually draw a huge crowd every Friday from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. at the Al-Ittifaq Club gymnasium and this conference will not be an exemption. This tourney has received overwhelming positive responses from various basketball teams, clubs and companies that resulted to 33 teams. The tournament's roster is led by 1st conference champion Al-Majdouie Group, Airbase Hospital, ARCC-EEI, Saudi Kentz and Dammam Warriors. Other team entries are Al-Tuwairqi Group, M.R. Khatlan, Zahid Volvo, Isam Kabanni, Al-Falak, Al-Hoty, Arcan Bai Aluminum, Al-Iman, Al-Qahtani, Saudi Steel Pipes, Al-Dossary, Metal Services, Al-Suwaidi, Inter-Continental Hotel, Saad Hospitals, Saipem-Snamprogetti, Future Pipe Industries, BTC Networks, Pangasinan, Triple H, Daggers, CIASI, Khobar Warriors, King Fahd Specialist, Al-Mojil (MMG), and GCC Company. The championship also include an inter-school league which is composed of International Philippine School in Al-Khobar (IPSA), Philippine International School Dammam (PISD) and Al-Andalus International School (AAIS). __
