King Abdullah Port keeps pace with latest global technologies

JEDDAH — Port Development Company, owner and developer of King Abdullah Port, participated in the International Conference of Port Community System Operator in the city of Le Havre, France, to discuss best case practices and global standards of ports systems and application management while using the latest cutting- edge electronic methods.
This comes in line with the continuous keenness to increase productivity and efficiency at King Abdullah Port, save additional time and effort in collecting and analyzing data in order to provide better integrated services for port's importers and exporters.
Engineer Abdullah Bin Mohamed Hameedaddin, Managing Director of Ports Development Company, said in a statement that “we saw an extremely vital opportunity to participate at the conference in Le Havre being among 30 international experts in port community systems developers and operators, port authorities, terminal operators, customs, maritime operations and academia that brought forth valuable experiences, enhancing the role of our presence as one of the major ports in the world, and exchanging expertise and best-case practices, in addition to acquiring the latest solution services that will allow us to tackle various challenges.”
