Published in The Saudi Gazette on 12 - 11 - 2014

RIYADH — The Gillette Future Champs Academy returns for a bigger and better year.
Once again, Gillette is calling out all future football stars across the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to sign up and compete in their 1st real football championship across the region.
The tournament this year will focus on granting players their first real experience both on and off the football pitch. Players will be able to play in their first real tournament and if they win, they will get the chance to be trained by their first real world famous coach at Fundación training camp, part of Real Madrid's Football Club.
The Gillette Future Champs Academy is an exciting football competition for the youth throughout the Gulf. Gillette will aim to reach over 600,000 players from all over the UAE, Jeddah and Riyadh. All the youths who participate will be given the unique opportunity to enhance their football ability in addition to being motivated and educated on new and trendy grooming skills and styles.
The winning teams from Saudi Arabia and the UAE will get the chance to represent their country and compete in the big playoff final in Dubai. The champions of the tournament will get a once in a lifetime, all-inclusive opportunity to attend Fundación training camp, part of Real Madrid's Football Club for two weeks where they will be under the guidance of one of the best football coaches in the world.
This year's championship will be spearheaded by none other than Omar Hussein, the renowned entertainer.
During last year's tournament, players were urged to get behind their country and share their national pride throughout the competition by either competing or supporting their family and friends. In previous editions, Gillette Future Champs managed to engage more than 15,000 participants shaping 320 teams.
The competition will kick off in November. For more details on where you can register and when Gillette will be in your City visit Gillette Arabia Facebook Page www.facebook.com/GilletteArabia. — SG
