Civil Defense rescuers on Monday pull a new Land Cruiser of a missing schoolteacher from the Rumah Valley in Onaiza region where it plunged into the fast-moving floodwater on Nov. 9. Decreasing level of floodwater in Rumah Valley helped locate the submerged vehicle, authorities said. Tempted by the power of his 4-wheel drive, Ahmad Al-Doaji decided to drive through the flood, a witness said. The witness was accompanying the victim, but decided to get out of the vehicle before the deadly adventure. The car was swept away 200 meters from where the driver initially attempted the flood drive. Swept downstream, the vehicle rolled to one side and was full of stuck-on dirt and mud which complicated its pullout. The search for the man continues, however.
