Rangers snap Bruins' win streak

Nigel Dawes and Markus Naslund wiped out a two-goal deficit in the closing minutes then Chris Drury scored the lone goal in the shootout for the New York Rangers to edge the Boston Bruins 3-2 in the NHL on Saturday.
The Rangers snapped the Bruins' five-game winning streak.
It wasn't in hand for the Rangers until a video review showed Patrice Bergeron's shot in the last round hit the post and didn't cross the line even though the red light flashed. Dawes' attempt in the tiebreaker also faced a review to show that no-goal.
None of that would've happened if not for Naslund, who leveled with 52.9 seconds left in regulation.
Devils 6, Capitals 5, SO: At Newark, New Jersey, Zach Parise scored the only goal in the shootout, and Scott Clemmensen stopped all three Washington shooters to end New Jersey's four-game losing streak and snap Washington's five-game winning streak.
After Parise, New Jersey's first shooter, beat Jose Theodore with a deke, Clemmensen secured the win with saves on Viktor Kozlov, Alex Ovechkin and Boyd Gordon.
In regulation, Patrik Elias scored twice and David Clarkson, Jamie Langenbrunner and Brian Gionta added goals as New Jersey gained a split of the home-and-away series.
Ovechkin's second goal with a second left in regulation sent the game into overtime. Tomas Fleischmann, Viktor Kozlov and Nicklas Backstrom added goals for the Capitals.
Backstrom also had four assists.
Penguins 5, Sabres 2: At Pittsburgh, Jordan Staal had two goals, including the late tiebreaker, and Pittsburgh scored four third-period goals to rally for its sixth straight victory.
Ruslan Fedotenko, Alex Goligoski and Evgeni Malkin also scored for Pittsburgh, and Marc-Andre Fleury made 21 saves.
Thomas Vanek and Jason Pominville scored for Buffalo.
Canucks 4, Maple Leafs 2: At Vancouver, British Columbia, Pavol Demitra had three assists after missing 10 games because of broken rib cartilage, and Roberto Luongo made 28 saves for Vancouver.
Demitra set up goals by Kyle Wellwood, Ryan Kesler and Daniel Sedin. Willie Mitchell also scored to help Vancouver finish 4-1-1 on its six-game homestand.
Toronto defenseman Ian White scored with 5:07 left to end Luongo's bid for a fourth shutout in five games.
Flyers 2, Canadiens 1: At Montreal, Scottie Upshall and Jeff Carter scored second-period goals, and Martin Biron saved 24 shots for Philadelphia.
Elsewhere it was: Islanders 3, Senators 2; Wild 3, Blue Jackets 2, SO; Stars 3, Coyotes 2; Avalanche 3, Oilers 2, SO; Predators 3, Kings 1.
