Zultec, My Care score victories in WPCA tournament

Zultec and My Care defeated Crown Blue and Juffali respectively in Level 1 of the Western Province Cricket Assiciation (WPCA) Championship here last week.
Zultec, batting first against Crown Blue scored 329 in the allotted 40 overs.
Skipper Anees Malik played a captain's innings by making 89 runs. Arif (57) and Rahat Chaudhry (39) added useful runs. Qaiser took 3-45. Zaheer and Asif shared two wickets each.
In reply, Crown Blue chased well but it was all out on 318. Kaleem (64), Shoukat (52) and Asif (42) were the main scorers. Yousuf (4-39) and Khalid (2-65) bowled well.
Batting first, Juffali was all out for 156 against My Care. Naeem Shah topscored with 51. Ihsan (20) and Fakhar (27) were the other scorers.
Jabbar (3-29), Mohsin (2-24) and Faheem (2-11) bowled well for My Care.
My Care hit the target in just 16 overs with its opening pair Nadeem Butt (71) and Majid Khan (43) scoring at will.
Level 11
In the level II Twenty20 matches, Saudi General Insurance, Fine Sweet and Nestle Milo scored wins over Luna, Zam Zam Hotel and Saudi German Hospital respectively.
In the first match, SGI beat Luna by six wickets. Batting first Luna Milk scored 177 through Afroz (60), Abid (46) and Asif (27). Shehzad, Yaseen and Tariq bagged one wicket each for SGI.
SGI reached the target for the loss of 4 wickets. Naseer (63), Sohail (58) and Iqbal (27) steered the team to victory.
Anjum, Aftab and Javed shared one wicket each for Luna Milk. In second match, Fine Sweet defeated Zam Zam Hotel. Batting first, Fine Sweet scored 175-9. Aqeel (50), Anwer (32) and Zuhaib (30) were the main scorers. Saleem (4-13), Waqas (2-13) and Waseem (2-40) bowled well. In reply, Zam Zam Hotel was all out on 137. Zeeshan (38), Saili (32) and Amir (14) were the main scorers. Salman (4-30), Afzal (3-17) and Hammad (1) bowled well for Fine Sweet.
In the third match, Nestle Milo won against SGH. Batting first Nestle Milo scored 217-6. Khurram Karamat hit his first century in new season. Adalat (45) and Rana (31) were the other scorers.
For SGH, Ijaz, Hafiz and Asad took one wicket each. Chasing a big total SGH started well through Asad (36) and Nadeem (25). But after their fall SGH folded for 149. Tahir Abbassi of Nestle Milo took 4-15.
Level II
Pakistan International School English Section Jeddah, Netpat and Al-Rawai Computer won their matches against Pak Kashmir, Hero Ranger and Jip Co Nai respectively.
PISJ-ES beat Pak Kashmir by 18 runs. PIS 183 (Irfan 30, Nouman 25, Imran Sajid 25, Abdul Rehman 21 - Muneer (2), Mushtaq 2. Pak Kashmir 167-7 (Mukhtar 46, Khoban 21, Shabbir 20, Mansoor 3-9).
Al-Rawai Computer defeated Jip Co Nai by 6 wickets. Jip Co Nai 129 (Atif 27, Shafeeq 23, Sohail 14 - Javed, Imran and Tippu 2 each). Al-Rawai Computer 140-4 (Zubair 67).
Netpat stunned Hero Rangers by 7 wickets. Hero Rangers 176 (Irfan 61, Safdar 29, Perveiz 17 - Nadeem, Ali Asif and Jones 2 each). Netpat 177-3 (Asim 68, Imran 59, Faraz 17 - Safdar, Perviez and Adil
