Three more explosive devices similar to the one which killed two young brothers Friday were found Saturday after authorities combed the scene of the explosion in Al-Sho'bah area north of Najran. Hamad and Hasan Abdullah Aal Zamanan, 12 and 17 respectively, were killed by an explosion while picnicking at Al-Sho'bah recreation ground, 50 km from Najran City. Col. Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Al-Harith, spokesman for Najran police, said after the report from King Khalid Hospital on the twin deaths was received, explosives experts were rushed to the scene. The source of the explosive devices has not yet been identified. The zone has been cordoned off until a complete survey and clearance has been completed. The father of the boys, Abdullah Ahmed Aal Zamanan, said while he was unloading his car he heard the explosion – which left a 15-20 cm hole in the ground – but thought it was a gunshot fired in the valley. Upon hearing screams, he rushed to the scene only to find his two sons lying on the ground. “I rushed them to the hospital, and on the way met a Red Crescent ambulance that was called by one of the picnickers. They put Hamad in the ambulance as he had wounds on the front of his body. I already thought they had died at the park and when we arrived at the hospital the doctors confirmed that they were dead,” he said. The boys were buried on Saturday. – Okaz/SG __
