Saudi artist featured on CFM's 2009 calendar

CFM, a company which combines the resources, engineering expertise and product support of two major aircraft engine manufacturers: Snecma (SAFRAN Group) of France, and GE of the US has issued a calendar for 2009, containing 12 different paintings by international artists. Saudi artist Taha Al-Sabban's painting ‘Place in Memory' was selected for the month of August 2009.
Taha Al-Sabban is a Saudi artist who is the founding chairman of the House of Artists in Jeddah. He was born in Makkah in 1948. His first exhibition was in 1967 and he has participated locally and abroad in different group and solo exhibitions and art seminars across the Middle East and Europe.
Al-Sabban has been awarded many prizes and has been commissioned to paint several public murals within the Kingdom. __
