I am writing with regard to the post “Cinemas will never be allowed in Saudi Arabia!” (June 18). It is clear that TV and the Internet are more dangerous than the cinema as a person can watch them in a closed room. Even a good person can sometimes slip and turn to a nasty channel or website if he is alone. The cinema is public. I am not saying it is good, but it is less dangerous. Another factor is that TV and the Internet are killing social life while the cinema helps social life. Ashref, Online response II.
