Tweeters reacted with sarcasm to the news of the wife that chose a new bride for her husband in Al-Aqiq province in Baha region, south of Saudi Arabia. The husband, who works in a security department at the regional airport in Baha, discussed marrying another woman with his wife, saying that he wants to have more than one wife. The wife then chose another bride in her 20s for her husband and attended the wedding ceremony. Most tweeters said that the woman was not in her right mind to commit such an act. Others sympathized with the wife saying that she must have had a strong reason to commit such an act, like maybe she is unable to have children. Others simply said that the husband might have been so unbearable that she wanted to get rid of him by marrying him off to another woman. Other men commented and called for other women to set this woman as an example for them and not stand in the way of men marrying other women.
