JEDDAH — “Art in the Mall” book, launched in Red Sea Mall, showcases the mall's journey in supporting Saudi contemporary art, and its efforts in sustaining local artistic talents.
Fatima Baazim, the famous Saudi female artist constructed collected pages of the “Art in the Mall” book. She has been an overt art enthusiast and the bridge that connects young artistic creations to the largest amount of art gourmets in Jeddah. She has worked hard to adopt and support emerging talents and contributed in creating opportunities for them to present their skills at various art-related events and festivals.
Fatima stated “I thank Allah for guiding us to introduce these young artists through the “Art in the Mall” book, which documents their actions and events in which they have participated. Secondly, I thank Red Sea Mall for its continuous support to youth and art. They have never hesitated to open their doors and corridors to embrace these innovations and capabilities, where the mall turned into a platform that includes them all and pushes them towards fame and thereby help achieve more successes.”
“The new book captures an important part of the Red Sea Mall's programs that aim to serve the Saudi society and its development, through exploring artistic talents and provide the means and atmosphere to refine and develop them to become leading artistic figures in the future,” said Mohammad Alawi, CEO Red Sea Markets Company.
“We believe that our support for the Saudi art contributes effectively in promoting patriotism among Saudi youth, and assures them that a lot of flares of hope and partners are around them, to achieve success. And Red Sea Mall is proud to be one of those partners.”
Artin, general manager at Red Sea Mall, said, “Art is a great cultural ability, in which people communicate and express their intellectuality and emotions. However, channels are different; art remains the ideal vehicle to transfer information, knowledge and self-expression, in addition to description of history. I believe that Red Sea Mall has fulfilled its promise, and will still do, to always support young Saudis and provide them with the platform that allows them to express their ideas and aspirations and develop their abilities, and perhaps be stars after that.”
