Al-Awal boosts fleet in deal with Renault
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 31 - 03 - 2014

Al-Awal Rent a Car signed an agreement with Renault, the number one European brand in Saudi Arabia, whereby the renowned French automotive company will be providing more than 500 cars to boost the rental fleet with modern and up-to-date Renault vehicles. If owning a Renault was not an option, renting one can be.
Sethurathnam, Country Head at Renault Saudi Arabia, and Wisam Al-Ali, Chairman of the Board at Al-Awal Rent a Car, signed the agreement in the presence of Ahmed Obeid, GM at Al-Awal, and several other officials from both companies.
Al-Ali expressed great joy regarding this agreement with Renault Saudi Arabia. “Al-Awal is consistently striving to expand and diversify its fleet while providing best international brands for all clients with unique and exceptional services.” Ali further said “Al-Awal chose Renault because it is a leading European brand with the finest after sales, maintenance, and repair services in the Kingdom, which made Renault a preferred vehicle in the Saudi market.”
He also confirmed the significance of the agreement with Renault Saudi Arabia since it will allow Al-Awal Rent a Car to satisfy customers' needs by offering quality vehicles and by renewing its fleet to handle the company's wide expansions. Al-Awal currently boasts more than 40 branches in the Kingdom along with its recently opened international outlets in London, Dubai, Doha, and Turkey. Similarly, the rental car company plans to open a number of new branches in the Eastern and Western regions of the Kingdom.
Sethurathnam said “this agreement confirms Renault's prominent position in the Saudi market and reinforces the confidence of our loyal customers. Renault's legacy is to provide quality services and products in the car industry. It demonstrates the perfect balance between contemporary designs, top notch technology, high performance, quality vehicles and excellent services offered at affordable prices. Adding Renault to Al-Awal fleet of available cars, exemplifies how important it is that the leaders in the rental car industry have a clear understanding of what customers need and demand. They purchase Renault because it provides them with a higher return on their investment.”
The Renault Fluence, Duster, Koleos and Safrane vehicles are truly satisfying rides in the kingdom and have done well in sales and popularity since their timely arrival. No other brand has been able to acquire the confidence and trust so effectively in the Kingdom, while still maintaining quality customer service and superior products. — SG
