The issue is supply and demand. Businesses have a demand for well-qualified employees with a strong work ethic and whereas the supply is not available among the local community, they must go out and hire non-Saudis. They want to have a car, latest mobiles, etc. For this they are ready to sacrifice their education. Saudization is not doing Saudis any favor. We expats, after earning our professional degrees struggle a lot in the first five years of our career in order to get a proper job and yet here these jobs are handed out to school boys.
