Published in The Saudi Gazette on 05 - 03 - 2014

ARABIAN Oud, the largest specialized oriental perfume retailer in the world and the foremost luxury fragrance house in the Middle East, has announced that it received a 97 percent satisfaction rating from customers of Amazon.com, the world's largest online retailer. The company was acknowledged for exceeding expectations in terms of high product quality and unrivaled packaging and delivery services. The company outranked its global and regional competitors in the survey results as over 95 per cent of its products are delivered within three to five days. Majority of Arabian Oud's customers on Amazon.com originate from the US, Canada, and Australia.
Arabian Oud targets various market needs and customer tastes with its world-class oud, oil and oriental perfumes. Perfume retailer's most popular fragrances on Amazon.com are Kalimat, Ghoroub, Hayati, Woody Intense, Sehr Al Kalimat, and Special Nights. The Amazon.com survey considered customer inputs on order defect, cancellation and late shipments rates, policy violations, on-time delivery, and meeting expectations.
Amazon's customer feedback feature is considered of high importance for Arabian Oud as it plays a major role in attracting new customers. A Mexican customer who tried Kalimat perfume said: “pamper yourself; this perfumer won't let you down”, while another Moroccan customer who bought Woody perfume said: “the oriental originality is what I liked most about this perfume and its components”, and based on his input, a potential female customer from San Francisco, USA, approached him with a group of questions that led her to be an Arabian Oud customer. Arabian Oud pages on social media also enjoy high rates of customer interaction enquiring about available means and ways of e-commerce, in addition to positive input and feedback related to the company's products and services.
Fotoun Al Omar, Electronic Marketing Specialist at Arabian Oud, said: “Arabian Oud has been able to corner a significant share of the international market by consistently satisfying the unique tastes of all our clients. The high customer satisfaction score we received from Amazon.com's survey affirms the effectiveness of our customer-centric approach. For online sales, the company provides giveaways and new product samples aside from delivering items on time and ensuring that they are in good condition to guarantee optimal customer satisfaction. In addition, the survey result will definitely boost our strategy to promote the Saudi fragrance market to a broader global audience.”
Arabian Oud is the largest company specializing in oud and oriental perfumes in the world, and a leading investor in social media and e-commerce websites to promote the company products and effectively communicate with customers through its pages. It also manages an extensive network throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, the Middle East and Europe. Arabian Oud is further regarded as the number one brand in the Middle East and Africa and 11th globally in producing the finest luxury perfumes based on a recent global study highlighting the value of perfume sales in 2012. — SG
