JEDDAH — Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has denied rumors that the company intends to raise service charges for electricity in the Kingdom. “Reports that the company was planning to raise its meter service charge by SR5 are untrue,” said SEC Executive President Ziyad Al-Shiha. He said amending power tariffs and fees related to electricity services is the responsibility of the Electricity and Cogeneration Regulatory Authority.
