MACHINEX Arabia, Saudi Arabia's 4th International Machinery and Equipment Exhibition, is set to host over 150 exhibitors from Saudi Arabia and 15 countries within its four day run, on Feb. 9-12, 2014 at Jeddah Center for Forums and Events. Some 222 industrial projects till now have been allocated on a total area of 3.894.442 square meters, and Jeddah 3rd Industrial City is expected to attract investments of nearly 900 factories worth SR15 billion as its unique location which is about 30 kilometers south of Jeddah city and 70 kilometers from Makkah city. “Year on year Machinex Arabia is establishing its position as the Kingdom's launch pad for the latest machinery and the main platform for technology transfer in mechanization across industrial sectors” commented Zahoor Siddique, Vice President of ACE. “Propac arabia- the production, processing, printing and packaging exhibition, in its 19th edition, held alongside, will be complementing Machinex Arabia thus maximizing footfall and enhance business potential constituting an ideal combination to access this vibrant lucrative market,” Siddique further said. National pavilions and individual companies from Austria, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, UK and USA, alongside a large number of Saudi companies, will be present at the show and exhibitors will benefit from massive exposure to premier regional agents, dealers, buyers and distributors “Investment in the industrial sector has risen exponentially as consumer-driven economic growth surges. Aside from petrochemicals, the strategy aims to stimulate the metallurgical and steel industries, food processing, packaging, automotive assembly, as well production of construction material, electrical and electronic goods,” Siddique said.
