JEDDAH — Over two-thirds of the Consumer Protection Association (CPA) survey's 3,114 respondents claimed that they are completely clueless about their rights as consumers while 3 percent said they are fully aware. The remaining 30 percent said they need more awareness. The majority of respondents do not know the procedures they should take when they want to return a defective product. They agreed the Ministry of Commerce and Industry should launch more awareness programs in this regard.
