THE fall months are here and it is time for Saudis and expatriates to re-discover the parks Kingdom-wide. Parks provide a welcome break from the usual malls and amusement centers; youngsters can exercise and play, while the elders can relax and reflect on perhaps a hard day at work and or think about future plans yet to be realized. The semi-desert area is perfect for families to camp out and enjoy their food and drinks. “I bring my young brother here every weekend when the weather is good and when my parents wants to be left to their personal activities”, says Ahmed Shharany. “We also have time to enjoy each others company,” he added.
