MADINAH — Security officers at the Prophet's Mosque prevented a mental patient in his 30s from slitting his own throat after Fajr prayer. People were alarmed when they saw the man producing a knife from his pocket and placing it on his throat. This is not the first time such incidents have happened inside the mosque. A mental patient was apprehended a few years ago for the same reason and was referred to the mental hospital.
