DHAHRAN AL-JANOUB — Swarms of desert locusts have been seen over Dhahran Al-Janoub governorate in Asir province. The Ministry of Agriculture has already started spraying insecticide all over the governorate, according to ministry's branch office director Hussein Al-Zahir. Desert locusts can wipe out fruit and vegetable crops in their way in a short time. The insecticides used for killing the locusts do not pose serious hazards to the environment, humans and animals.
