With regard to the article "Manpower terrorism" (Nov. 29), the Saudi government has been doing its best to catch up with the international community. However, its citizens are not in touch with reality. Expats are here in Saudi Arabia because of citizens who don't want to work. Expats enter the Kingdom because of Saudi visa sellers. Expats enter illegally because of weak border control and because citizens are engaged in the business of bringing in expats illegally. If citizens do not like expats, then they should work for their country and kick every expat out. Don't compare Saudi Arabia with the UK, France, or the US where expats can apply for green cards and get citizenship. Avid1111, Online response II. The dirty, nasty work and do it for very little money or demand that wages go up and be prepared to pay a lot more for some basic services that you have become very used to paying nothing for in the past.
