A number of female students were saved from a school bus fire on their way to school from Abqaiq to Al-Ahsa, Eastern Province. Students alerted the driver of a strong smell of smoke inside the bus. The driver immediately stopped the bus and evacuated the students. A minute later the bus was on fire. Civil Defense teams arrived at the location and successfully tackled the fire. Officers are still investigating the cause of fire.
