JEDDAH — Carvin Harris, DJ Omar Basaad, as well as the dance troupes Above & Beyond and Disclosure will perform at Creamfields Abu Dhabi 2013 in December. Their expected appearance at the Creamfields Abu Dhabi this year has been confirmed by the festival organizers. The confirmation announcement came after the earlier confirmation of the first wave of entertainment artists to perform at the festival. EDM producer and DJ Omar Basaad will give a Saudi flavor to the event and will perform alongside other regional artists based in UAE, including Hollaphonic, Gunther & Stamina, Ronin & Nesta, Mr. Mr., Genie and Stacktraxxx, Asphyxia & Angelo, Smokingroove, maDJam and Mark Pickup. Creamfields Abu Dhabi will take place on December 13 at the Du Arena on Yas Island in the United Araba Emirates. Creamfields organizers said LED performers, laser and light shows, giant laser robots, costumed stilt walkers, fire dancers, fun rides, photo booths and fancy costumes, ‘chill out' lounges, oxygen bars, ice creams and a variety of food and drinks will be part of the full entertainment package.
Produced by events promoter, Flash Entertainment, Creamfields Abu Dhabi is the region's popular electro-dance music festival. The structure of the festival features the “live outdoor stage” and 8-10 DJ only arenas. Previously, Creamfields Abu Dhabi had hosted big names like David Guetta, deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Underworld, Sasha, Dizzee Rascal, Afrojack, Magnetic Man, Tiësto, Katy B and John Digweed. Creamfields Abu Dhabi hosts a number of different music genres each year from dance, trance, drum n' bass and dubstep, progressive and trip-hop.
