Bautista, Ritual, Canda and Ersando sparkle

Ronald Bautista, Noli Ritual, Pastor Rodel Canda and newcomer Leody Ersando rocked lanes to bag the FBGR monthly honors for the month of August at the InterCon Riyadh Hotel Bowling Center.
In Class A division, southpaw Ronald Bautista posted 987 points to bag the title from the top finisher Wilson Bacala. According the tournament rules previous monthly champions are allowed to take part in the tourneys but are not entitles to take the title. Hence Bacala had to be satisfied with the first runner-up despite tallying a series of 1,021 in five games. Atoi Ramos took the second runner-up by posting 1,019 points. Standings of other players: 4. Joe Ligon, 5. Benny Mondoy, 6. Jojo Paciano, 7. Larry Mondoy, 8. Nap Torres, 9. Leo Mabunga and 10. Jett Cabana
Noli Ritual shot 946 series in five games to bag the tile in Class B. Sonny Alviso took the first runner-up by tallying 925 points while Doy del Moral clinched the second runner-up with 909 points. Standings of other players: 4. Willie Ortega, 5. Cas Encila, 6. Bert Lopez 901, 7. Boni Manalang, 8. Gerard Austria, 9. Edgar Buenaventura (777) and 10. Romy Cabrillas (771).
Finally, after so many hardships, Pastor Rodel Canda vindicated himself to win the honors in Class C. Canda submitted five game series of 930. Likewise, Marlon Pagulayan and Chito Llagas snatched the first and second runners-up places respectively. Pagulayan downed 894 points while Llagas rolled 888. Other position of the players: 4. Chito Llagas, 5. Rollie Cleofe (6), Marlon Belista, 7. Thong Asuncion, 8. Ben Torrefiel, 9, Jun Jabonero 789, 10. Mario Rivera (776).
In Class D, newcomer Leody Ersando sizzled to score 852 points to win the title while Jun Bantug, previous monthly champion earned 879 points and took the first runner-up place. Edwin Nunez was the second runner-up by collecting a series of 872 points. Final position of other players: 4. Ed Robillos, 5. Jonathan Banayag, 6. Jun Daniel, 7. Danny Nabong, 8. Marc Carpio, 9. Nelson de Vera, 10. Omar Valdez. The champions and runners-up in each class received SR600, SR300 and SR200 plus individual trophies. Meanwhile, the FBGR Grand Annual Tournament will be held on Oct. 31 and at stake for the champion is Sony Bravia 32” LCD color TV set while the runner-up will receive Sony Sparkling 29” color TV set and cash prize. __
