Nissan ties up with KidZania to experience the thrill of driving
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 31 - 08 - 2013

Children passing through KidZania Kuwait will have the chance to view the iconic and powerful Nissan 370Z and experience the thrill and excitement of driving it through a special simulator.
This is the first time Nissan has formed an alliance with KidZania as a strategic partner, and through this initiative, alongside Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al-Babtain Co., offers the younger generation of car lovers a unique opportunity to get up-close and personal with the stylish 370Z.
Nissan, known for delivering ‘innovation and excitement' has branded KidZania as one of their own showrooms, offering kids their first driving experience on a Nissan 370Z simulator. In addition, after safely passing the vitrual “Driving Examination”, participants will receive a pretend driving license issued with a Nissan logo. Children can also spend time developing their dream car by virtually accessorizing and customizing their own 370Z utilizing online tools.
Commenting on this partnership, Mohamed Shalaby, Chief Operating Officer, Al-Babtain Group, said “our showcase at KidZania expresses Nissan's capability of meeting our future customers' needs and beyond. This is a great opportunity for visitors to see the Nissan 370Z in person and most importantly understand the importance Nissan places on developing and educating our youth of today about driving safely. We are also pleased that we have established an agreement with KidZania which allows Nissan to operate the automotive section as well as the DMV. We believe this will allow for complete synergy and consistency in the experience for our future ambassadors.”
Yolande Pineda, General Manager- Corporate Communications, Nissan Middle East, said: “The Nissan 370Z is famous for its blend of style and driver appeal, in keeping with its iconic ‘Z' DNA. This award winning sports car has always led the class in performance terms, combined with its fresh innovations for the 2013 model year, the excitement of owning a 370Z is open to a broader audience. We are pleased that children participating in KidZania will have a chance to be orientated to this iconic model.”
The 2013 Nissan 370Z offers an unmatched balance of performance, style, and technology, and further benefits from a refreshed front fascia with vertical LED daytime running lights. Equipped with a 328-horsepower 3.7-litre engine, choice of 7-speed automatic transmission or close-ratio 6-speed manual with available SynchroRev Match, the list of cutting edge technology also includes 4-wheel vented disc brakes. Other available technology features include an advanced Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System, Rear View Monitor, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System and standard Nissan Intelligent Key. — SG
