SIEMENS has recently expanded its low and medium voltage panel manufacturing facility in Jeddah to more than 6,000 square meters. The modern facility is equipped with top-notch technology and follows strict environment, health and safety standards and has been fully ISO certified. Moreover, the facility contains a highly advanced testing center which performs fully functional simulation tests for substation automation and communication systems according to the highest national and international standards. The facility was established over two decades ago and licensed by the Ministry of Industry and Electricity as a local manufacturer for a wide range of switchgears and control panel products. “Siemens in Saudi Arabia is fully committed to the Kingdom and its people and we will continue investing into developing the local human capital,” said Arja Talakar, CEO Siemens Saudi Arabia. “The expansion of the Siemens panel production facility in Jeddah is another milestone in our constant quest of expanding our manufacturing footprint and we will continue on our path of driving localization fully aligned with the strategic agenda of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” he added.
