NasJet, the complete private aviation service provider based in Saudi Arabia, has appointed Capt. Khalid A. Al Hamdan as its new COO. “Capt. Khalid's role is to further enhance the products and services currently provided by NasJet and to be recognized globally, as one the most successful business jet operations in the region. There will be a continued focus on safety, quality of service and ultimately providing unique products to support the region's most discerning individuals, private companies and multinationals, who require the many benefits of private aviation', said Ghassan Hamdan, NasJet CEO. “His considerable business experience is further underpinned by a distinguished military career, which includes flying fighter jet aircraft and leading an air force squadron. “I am great believer in leading by example and have been able to successfully apply my military training to the world of private business,” he said. Captain Khalid brings with him a wealth of senior management and leadership experience to the sector. Prior to his recent appointment, he was a Director of NasJet Flight Operations from 2007. He worked on some of most sophisticated air transportation projects for institutions based in the GCC. He also has considerable experience flying Boeing aircraft including the 707/737 and will continue to fly on special occasions.
