AL-BAHA — A man in his 30s beat his old father to death with a stick in an Al-Baha village. The man repeatedly struck his father on the head with the stick until he died, according to Al-Baha police acting spokesman Lt. Col. Bandar Al-Ghamdi. Police said the son was suffering from psychological problems and had been seeking treatment. When forensic teams arrived at the scene of the crime, they found the victim lying on his back with a large wound to the left part of his head. They also noticed that the body had been dragged to the bathroom and back to the same place. The son immediately confessed to the crime. Investigations are still going on to find out the motive behind the crime and whether the murderer is fit to stand trial.
