For 23 years INDEX has provided a business and networking opportunity for buyers and sellers of residential interiors products and services from around the world to source an astounding array of the very latest design innovations, trends and techniques.

THE May 2013 editions of INDEX and the Office Exhibition generated $205 million in sales and orders, confirming their role as the leading MENA events for the interior and commercial interior design community, their organizer dmg events said Wednesday.
“This year, more than $205 million in sales and orders was generated by the 750 participating companies,” it said in a statement.
The two trade shows took place simultaneously at the Dubai World Trade Centre last month and dates for the 2014 have already been confirmed with both shows set to open their doors from on May 19- 22.
"The results, our exhibitors and our visitors confirmed that bringing INDEX and The Office Exhibition together – and maximizing reach with the industry's influencers and decision makers – have been the right decision”, said Frederique Maurell, Event Director for INDEX and The Office Exhibitions. “The popularity of the fairs is unrivalled across the Middle East and Africa and the interest from Europe, Asia, North and South America also keeps increasing. This year, we attracted visitors from 56 different countries. Both INDEX and The Office Exhibition have a fixed place in the agendas of the industry's major players and year on year, we keep providing them with a fulfilling professional experience".
A large crowd of architects, designers, project managers, office managers, facilities managers, and retailers flocked to the shows, with registration hitting over 26,000 visitors attending over the four days. Ten halls of the Dubai World Trade Centre– spread over a total of 48,800 square meters of floor space – played host to a variety of products, projects and inspiring design-related events.
The 750 companies from 46 different countries that exhibited at INDEX and The Office Exhibition were rewarded with new contacts signed and business deals concluded to the value of $160 million for INDEX exhibitors and $45.57 million for The Office Exhibition exhibitors.
dmg events is now gearing up for INDEX KSA which will run in Jeddah on Nov. 12-14, 2013, and plans for the 24th edition of INDEX and the 13th edition of The Office Exhibition are also already in progress. — SG
