WASHINGTON — Stephen Strasburg struck out nine over seven innings, Ian Desmond homered in the seventh and the Washington Nationals beat the slumping Colorado Rockies 2-1 Friday night. Making his 14th start of the season, Strasburg (4-6) allowed one run and five hits for his first win since May 31. After DJ LeMahieu's RBI single in the third, Strasburg kept the Rockies scoreless.
