After noticing great demand for “events-happening-where” the Rumman Company recently launched a website for youth named “FAINAK” which in Arabic means “Where are you?” This website is mainly to support youth, showcase their efforts and give them recognition in the community, Maria Mahdaly, the team manager of Fainak website, said. This website will give full information about the upcoming daily events in the city with their timings and location. Moreover a FAINAK team will cover all cultural and social events in the town. With respect to cultural norms and values, there are a wide range of experiences, opportunities and resources available for young people. Through innovative and entertaining events, programs and interactive website, the team of FAINAK strives to expose young people to a wide range of experience, Mahdaly said. School and college students and part timers can also contribute to this website by sending information about any event and with appropriate pictures, she said. Jeddah is full of places where many things are happening on a daily basis. “Sometimes people do not get first hand knowledge about these events, so it would be great to provide them with the information through this website,” said Mahdaly. According to Mahdaly, FAINIK plans to launch a weekly newsletter too. This local handout will include information of upcoming events, cafes, universities, campuses, shopping malls and other interesting events happening in the town. __
