"This story and narrative is so old and boring, but only used because we are having the most successful 'First One Hundred Presidential Days' in the history of America," Trump wrote, blaming political opponents for leveraging the leak to undermine his administration's performance. The story resurfaced last week after The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg revealed that he had been mistakenly added to a Signal chat group titled "Houthi PC small group" on March 13. Goldberg said the invitation came from an account bearing U.S. National Security Adviser Mike Waltz's name. Although the administration and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth have denied that classified material was discussed, newly released screenshots show Hegseth allegedly talking about strike details, including timing, location, and weapons to be used. Participants in the chat reportedly included Hegseth, Vice President JD Vance, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
