Meanwhile, Jordan and Egypt are facing increasing U.S. pressure to accept Palestinian refugees, following remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump advocating for seizing control of Gaza and relocating its residents to other countries in the region. Trump reiterated his stance during a meeting with Jordan's King Abdullah at the White House on Tuesday, proposing that Gaza should be controlled by the U.S. and transformed into a tourist destination.
